Time to get back on the computer and visit my friends.
for me.
Here's wishing for a wonderful weekend for you and yours too!
What a busy day! Today was Klara's real first day of preschool (last week was just orientation). I bribed her before we left and told her that if she was really good she would get a special gift. Her preschool is three hours long so I decided just to stay in town and do my weekly shopping. Will and I had a nice breakfast at the local restaurant. This restaurant is great! After we got done there, we headed off for Walmart to pick up a few items for ourselves and the neighbors (to save on gas). Then we were off to the grocery store. I couldn't have worked it out any more perfectly. We got back to the preschool just in time to pick her up at the end.
On the way home, we stopped by a little flea market on the side of the road. There was a man there who had a miniature horse he was trying to sell. I thought Klara and Will would enjoy seeing him and the man was nice and let us pet and talk to him. His name was "Willy," which we got a good laugh out of (because of Will). He even whinnied for us a few times! What a little guy! He only came up to my waist.
Oh, yes, and Klara got her gift. One "Back To School" Dora the Explorer doll. She loved it!
And the rest of the day was just regular stuff. Cleaning, cooking, diaper changing, etc. Tomorrow I get to watch my new baby nephew, Ethan, while his family attends the university's football game. You know I just hate watching babies...NOT! And he is an easy one, because he can't walk, crawl, or anything else to get himself into trouble. Just 100% pure snuggly!
Last weekend went really smoothly with the evacuees coming to the airlift wing. Rich said they were extremely nice and he enjoyed talking with them and helping. He, especially, loved the kids. A little guy by the name of Jamal really captured his memory. He said Jamal was a funny kid and he had a good time playing with him. They have all been moved now to Camp Dawson up in the northern part of the state and they are doing well.
Alright it is time for me to get to bed. Decided I needed to go to bed early tonight for once!
Hi Leticia! Thanks for stopping by! Stacie, Ethan is EASY to spoil! What a sweetheart!
